A plant based dye, derived from the dried and powdered leaves of the henna plant (Lawsonia inermis), henna (or mehndi) is a safe, natural, and temporary body art practiced for centuries in South Asia, North and East Africa, the Middle East, and now in Western cultures.

My henna paste is hand mixed, using body art quality, natural henna powder, lemon juice, aromatherapy grade essential oils (lavender and niaouli), and cane sugar.

No preservatives or chemicals are ever added to the paste.
